Rafał Górski is the Chairman of the Board of the Civil Affairs Institute. He is a graduate of the Łódź University of Technology and the University of Łódź, the Coaching Academy and MiniMBA Management Centre. In 1995 he became a community worker. In 2000-2010 he worked for the magazine “Obywatel”. He originated citizen campaigns including: “Trucks on rails”, “Citizens decide” and “None of the above”. He is an expert on the Works Councils Support Centre and the KEY Centre (the Social Economy Support Centre). He is also an originator of the Campaigners Hotbed. In 2013-2014 he was a member of the Committee on Social Campaings in the Polish Radio. He is a columnist of the weekly “Tygodnik Solidarność” and works for the portal WszystkoCoNajważniejsze.pl. In his free time he shapes his body, mind and spirit as he gets prepared to “Selection” – a game that imitates the process of troop selection in GROM-like military units.
Biologist, occupied with the legal protection of nature, enviromental education and brining people closer to nature. She currently is preparing to become a mediator in ecological conflicts.
Worked in a few NGOs in Poland and abroad, always serving the Mother Earth. She finished a prestigious course Klaus Toepfer Fellowship in Germany, where she studied the most recent trends in nature protection and within the bounds of her own project she studied the wilderness areas within the Polish national parks and nature reserves. Not bound to a single location, Białowieża Forest has been lately very dear to her heart, while Carpathians have been, and will always be, her biggest love. She deeply believes that #WildIsBeautiful and she does not hesitate to talk about it.
If she would have a few different lives, she would be a luthier, an art conservator in Louvre, or a physicist in CERN. In addition she is also a dietician in accordance with the traditional Chinese Medicine, an amateur photographer, an all-around housewife that sings with booming voice and dances with confident step.
Ilona Pietrzak having studied spatial development with a specialization in the field of the human resources regional development and human capital in knowledge-based economy. She is the Vice-Chairman of the Civil Affairs Institute. She supervises the process of gaining resources in INSPRO and the KEY Centre – the accredited Good Quality Social Economy Support Centre. Thanks to the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy she is a certified business advisor for social economy entities. She also graduated from the programme “Non-governmental organizations managers”. She creates campaigns that convey an essential message and, at the same time, shape the image of INSPRO as a strong and independent organization. She is fond of doing right things, she likes volleyball and happy ends. She is interested in politics and organized crime in Poland. She intends to take over the world :)
A law graduate, as well as a post-graduate of tax law studies at the University of Łódź.
She carried out a legal apprenticeship in the Regional Chamber of Legal Advisers in Łódź. She gained experience while working in NGOs and handling economic operators and social economy entities (most importantly social cooperatives). Took part in the works on the draft bill on social company and was a member of the group concerned with the issue of lobbying as well as legislation created within the project “KŁOS”. Very interested in the topic of legislation within the field of social economy.
Adviser in the field of transportation politics. Graduate from the University of Birmingham in Great Britain. While being a student, he founded a foundation/an organisation that adapted and rebuilt a closed railway line on the southern coast of England. Worked as a head of the Department of Planning and Strategy for Automobile Association, one of the biggest organisations providing automotive services in Europe. In Poland, he founded the Pro Kolej Foundation in order to promote the economic and ecological values of railway transportation.

Runs an ecological farm together with her husband, where she grows vegetables, cereal, and bakes bread. 1996-2014 – An employee of the Polish Humanitarian Action, 1996-1997 as a specialist on humanitarian education, 1998-2006 as the coordinator of the Humanitarian Education Programme, 2006-2014 as the senior specialist for development and global education.
